About Creative Paints
Creative Paints was purchased by Keith Weston on July 1, 2016 from Allen Huff. Allen owned the store for over 20 years before deciding to sell. Keith has continued Allen's legacy by carrying premium paints, painting supplies, and custom window treatments. He also continues to give back to the community as much as possible. Keith's father Ed has been there since day 1 and has been a monumental help in keeping a high level of paint knowledge at the store. Bios of both Keith and Ed are available below.

“I was born in Clinton in 1993, though I spent most of my childhood living in Montrose before moving to Clinton in 2007. I went to Clinton High School where I was involved in JROTC, Theatre, Student Government, SkillsUSA, and the Clinton High School Honor Society. After graduating from Clinton in May of 2012, I spent 4 years at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg studying for a BSBA in Computer Information Systems. I was involved in University Housing and Phi Sigma Phi National Honor Fraternity. I graduated with my Bachelor’s Degree in May of 2016 and soon after purchased Creative Paints & Supplies on July 1, 2016.”

"I was born in California in 1961. I attended Norwalk High School and started painting with my dad. Both my parents were in property management so there was no shortage of places to paint. I moved to KC in 1980 and met my wife, Dorothy, in 1982. We have been married for 33 glorious years. Also in 1982, I started painting professionally in KC. Dorothy and I moved to Henry County in 1990 and I’ve been painting locally since 1991. We then moved to Clinton in 2007. I’ve lived in many towns across the USA throughout my life and I can honestly say that Clinton, MO is the best town I’ve ever lived in. I intend on living in Clinton for the rest of my life and giving back to our community as much as possible."
